We arrived at the agency at 3pm to collect our car that our insurance company has said that they had booked as our car had broken home down in France and we were trying to get back to England. The insurance company had booked it incorrectly so it was not on the system. The manager was amazing. He was so helpful and understanding of mine and my husband's situation and kind to my young daughters who were very upset. He found us a car before they closed and was very helpful. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

AVOID! We arrived during opening hours to find the office closed. We waited for a while and eventually someone turned up. When we told him we had a car booked, he said he didn’t have any record of it. We showed him the booking confirmation email, and he then said the manager had emailed us the day before to cancel our car. We never received this email. Even if we had, it still would have left us in a tricky situation without a car at very short notice. The member of staff told us there was nothing he could do. By this time most of the other car hire places were closing. We went over the road to Avis, who were still open. They didn’t have any cars available but the very helpful man there told us they regularly get customers coming from Enterprise, because Enterprise tend to overbook and then cancel people’s bookings. We were left stranded with six people needing to get to our gîte in the countryside 35km away. We will never use Enterprise again because of their bad practices and bad customer service.

We booked a car online in advance. Place closes at 6. We showed up a little before 6 and no one was there. We even called and got no answer. Had to go to SIXT across the road to hire another car. The guy from SIXT said that the manager from enterprise had just been here chatting and that we could catch him if we went back to enterprise. We did and said that we were here on time. He proceeded to say that the car we hired wasn’t available anymore and blamed us for being late. Rude, unhelpful and stayed silent when we confronted him with proof that we were there on time. Need a car ? Go to SIXT across the road. The guy there had a brain and was very nice.

Are not honest with opening hours. They are closed between 12pm-2pm, but when I showed up to pick up keys having checked in online, they had locked up and left early for lunch. Edit: No-one there when we returned at 2pm and no answer from any phone number online or posted on the door. Eventually after 20 mins I went to SIXT to see about booking an alternative. SIXT staff knew the Enterprise staff personally and called them - they would be back in 15 mins. Got our car by 2.45pm.
